Hi I Have Been Having A Welt Under My Right

Hi I have been having a welt under my right eye (always the right eye). It does not hurt, is slightly itchy and a bit reddish and usually goes away in a few days. I wear a cpap mask the strap of which cross my face exactly where the welt occurs. I also had dermatitis in this same area of my face. I have been to a dermotoloigst and am using a prescribed ointment. Is there anything I can do to reduce the swelling. Heat or Cold? I am afraid I am not cleaning the cpp mask well enough or not rinsing the detergent I use..Please give me your thoughts. I read elsewhere that this is an area indicating liver function problems.
