Hi, I Have Been Having Some Issues Pertaining My Birth

Hi, I have been having some issues pertaining my birth control pill. I'm 16 years old and wanted to ask what the best option for me would be. I have been having some discomfort down there and itching around my vulva for a little while now that happens often after having sex. There is no discharge, but I don't think I have a yeast infection. My boyfriend does not have an infection, although we have been both treated for Chlamydia in the past. I think what's causing some of this pain and itching is my birth control. I have trouble getting wet during sex and sometime's I definitely think that is the underlying problem. I know that the pill contains both progesterone and estrogen, but would switching to the Depo shot be a better option?
