I have been on a daily dose of acyclovir for genital herpes for 30 years. I have been a person who experienced frequent outbreaks even on 400mg daily dose , so she increased to 800 mg a day four years ago and I have done fine with it. However, I am currently having a actually outbreak on my behind and also appear to have an outbreak slightly on the forehead. My question is how much can I take dosage wise to combat this current episode. I have been under stress and have been practicing yoga where the body is very warm.
