Hi. I Have Been On Birth Control For A Few

Hi. I have been on birth control for a few years. For the past 2 months I have not had a period but a brown discharge is this normal? I stopped taking my birth control pills about a week and a half ago to see if my period would start up again .This month along with the discharge my breasts are swollen. Is this normal?
