Hi I Have Been On Ms Contin For Over 8

Hi I have been on ms contin for over 8 years yesterday I went to see my doctor only to be told he could not give them to me as I had not been to the pain clinic which I was not told that I had to see them once a year,I rang the pain clinic only to find out there is at least a 6 month waiting list. I am not a doctor shopper I was taking 2 tablets 30mg so I am now going through withdrawls and I'm not sure if my doctor should have just cut me off. I do hope you can help me out with my question as I feel as I have been let down by my doctor,, regards Sonya
