Hi I Have Been Scratched By A Monkey Earlier Today.

Hi I have been scratched by a monkey earlier today. Not deep. But went and got medical attention straight away (rabipur which is 5 injections over the course of a month) and she suggested a stronger one which I will have to get once in a city as I am on a island now.
Can you catch it through a scratch or is it saliva? Just very concerned now.
