Hi, I Have Been Seeing Doctors For Breathing Related Issues

Hi,

I have been seeing doctors for breathing related issues for a while now. I did smoke a lot when I was younger and have since been an on and off casual smoker.

I've been told by doctors each time that its asthma and been given an inhaler to use. It gives temporary relief but eventually I get itchy ears, a itchy throat and a wheezy chest back again. I've also been diagnosed with pleurisy after complaining about pains in my chest.

I've also had reoccurring flus and phenomena and had to be held over night in hospital for a really deep wheeze that made me feel as if I was drowning. For this they did a "reverse therapy" on the nebuliser.

Lately I've had black stool which has sent myself and doctors on a hunt through my diet and I've even had a scope down my throat.

I'm starting to worry that all of this may in fact be lung cancer. In saying that I'm 23 and the doctors don't take me seriously when I question it. I've even been sent out saying I have anxiety which is causing the shortness of breath. I really don't want to regret not taking this seriously.
