Hi, I Have Been Trying To Conceive For A Few

Hi, I have been trying to conceive for a few months. I am currently for days past when I was supposed to start my period. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday morning, that read negative. My cervical mucus last night was a light to medium brown colored with little lines of red blood in it. It was stretchy and not a large amount. I don't exactly know what is going on, but my right breast seems to be more firm and slightly larger, the firmness is more towards the left half of the breast by my sternum. Is this normal, or should I make an appointment and go in?
There is no history of breast cancer that runs in my family.
