Hi I Have Broncitus And Was Told It Is Not

Hi I have broncitus and was told it is not contagious--went to a CVS and all else was well with me but could not get a antibiotic because it has to run it's course, took over the counter meds and got a inhailer all is getting better (yes I am a smoker and I am 61 years old) my guestion is my grand babies are turning 1 on the 22ed of this month and they were all premmies so my daughter in law says that I can not be there because I have a virus Is this true?
