Hi. I Have Dark Red Raw Patches On The Inside

Hi. I have dark red raw patches on the inside of both of my cheeks, in the middle and towards the back, progressing from about the middle of the cheek to the gum line of my molars on top. The area behind my last molars on the bottom, where my wisdom teeth were removed a year ago, also feel as if this is occurring. I have been have rather nasty acid indigestion the last week (heartburn). Are these patches in my mouth something I should worry about
