Hi, I Have Experienced The Following Symptoms Over The Past

Hi, I have experienced the following symptoms over the past few days: fever (not overly high), facial-forehead rash and puffiness around eyebrows and nose area just below, soreness around neck areas closest to earlobes, fatigue, and general lack of appetite. I have tried to get as much rest as possible - some days no choice - and take over-the counter medicine (fever reducer and just recently benadryl), and consume a good bit of fluids (in particular herbal teas). Symptoms have diminished to a degree, especially the fever, but not entirely. Mono seems the most closely associated w/ the foregoing but that is more typical among children - I'm nearly 50. Thoughts, suggestions, etc. welcome.
