Hi I Have Had A Ear Infection For 11 Days.

Hi I have had a ear infection for 11 days. I have been on amoxicillin for 4 days and it didn't help. They switched me to amoxicillin and clavulin, and have been on this going on my 4th day. I don't have near the pain but I can't hear as it feels plugged and has a ring in it. We are flying in five weeks for holidays and I am getting scared as it seems not to be going away. Please any suggestions. I would really appreciate any help. I am getting really frustrated. I did read to make a ear drop with garlic and olive oil would help. Any truth in that? Thank you, Kelly
