Hi, I Have Had A Fever For More Than 24

Hi, I have had a fever for more than 24 hours, it will go down with advil, but keeps coming back. I have sweating, chills, and a headache. It started with a very minor sore throat, but that is gone now. All other symptoms are vague. Dizziness and nausea, but only when the fever goes up. No runny nose or other cold symptoms. I am fatigued and my body aches. The glands in the front of my neck are just barely tender. I feel like this is just a virus and I should wait it out, but I would like a doctor's opinion.
