Hi I have had chronic constipation since young adulthood. I've also had a lot of flatulence for at least 15 years now. I am a 73 year old woman. I underwent treatment for Micobacterium Avium Complex for one and a half years. Tx ended Nov. 2018. I took Miralax almost daily during my tx because of aggravated constipation. My doctor had me cut back on Miralax to every other day last May and I did pretty well. I decided to stop the Miralax 8 days ago, and now I'm having diarrhea and/or soft frequent bowel movements that are sometimes green. I had a colonoscopy with removal of one polyp in May, 2018. No cancer found. Can you please advise me if I should be concerned or if these symptoms are possibly connected to my stopping Miralax?
