Hi, I Have Had Irregular Periods For About Two Years

Hi,
I have had irregular periods for about two years now. Last year I only had 4 periods. Sometimes it is light and lasts 2 days but most of the time it's heavy with large clots. My periods are extremely painful all the time. My doctor told me to lose weight and this would fix it. I've lost nearly 20kgs, however the problem persists. I now have a secretion from my vagina and it can have quite a bad smell, it is sometimes very thick. In between periods I have pain in my uterus that comes and goes but is very uncomfortable. I sometimes have very slight bleeding after sexual intercourse and now I'm experiencing a weird, mild rumbling/fluttering sensation in my uterus.
I'm 35 years old. I'm married and I have 2 children.
I am definitely not pregnant as my husband has had a vasectomy.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
