Hi, I Have Had Itchy Spots Randomly For About 6

Hi, I have had itchy spots randomly for about 6 weeks but daily for the past 3 weeks. They appear mostly on my upper legs and arms. They are ferociously itchy and it's becoming unmanageable! I've tried moisturising, different moisturisers, sudocreme which works for a half hr or so. Nothing in my diet has changed and I'm a creature of habit regarding detergents, cleaning stuff, cosmetics etc and have been sticking to the same products I always have there.

My daughter who's 3 1/2 also has some very itchy spots similar to mine on her bum and upper arms. We live with my parents and neither of them have the itch!

I greatly appreciate any advice.
