Hi, I Have Had Previous Problems With Hemoroids Due To

Hi, I have had previous problems with hemoroids due to pregnancy, I thought they'd gone away but I have recently had minimal bleeding from the anus, itching, and pain when and after passing stools. Also I can see them (only when pushing) there are 2 or 3 little dark purple coloured bulges, that retract on thier own.
They feel soft, I've been using ointment to treat them for a while. Does this sound just like hemoroids or could it be like anal cancer?! I have a doctors appointment next week but would like an opinion sooner.
Please help me rule out somthing serious!! Thankyou
