Hi. I Have Hypothyroidism And Have Been On Eltroxin 0.1

Hi. I have hypothyroidism and have been on eltroxin 0.1 for 7 years. My new physician has determined that I have hashimotos but has stopped the eltroxin as my levels are all normal but I have been having a high heart rate and hot flushes. Is it safe to just stop eltroxin . What else can I take as the hot flushes have stopped but I still get regular episodes of cardiac flutters and mainly at night I am getting slight pain in the upper left chest region .
