Hi, I Have Nit Hurt My Finger At All Or

Hi, I have nit hurt my finger at all or done anything to it or gotten a splinter or anything. About a week ago I randomly got this extreme pain in my right hand pinky finger from the top knuckle to the top of my finger. I just blew it off as I must have hit it or something but it's still in extreme pain for a week not and sometimes the tip turns purple and the vein sticks out and is really dark purple. My finger is swollen and the tip of my pinky is a little hard and is always red and the pain never goes away. Is there anything you can suggest it could be? My mom just says it's nothing but I don't think it's nothing. Please help
