Hi, I Have Once And Infected Pimple Under My Chin

Hi,

I have once and infected pimple under my chin which cause my lower lip to be swollen.
Now all puss has came out and has been cured already but I still feel a little hardness around the wound and lower lip but is not painful at all.
Does this mean the tissues are still not getting to normal and will subside in a couple of months? or what does this really mean?
