I have proctitis which includes rectal bleeding. My recent colonscopy was clean, but the bleeding continues the gastroenterologist says that bleeding is not necessarily an issue. The asacol and salofalk have not improved the situation, nor an increase in the asacol from 3-5 per day. He has now reduced it to 3 per day. Any suggestions? Oh - no pain or nausea or anything like that.
