Hi! I Have Question About Chalazion... My Son (4 Yrs

Hi! I have question about chalazion... My son (4 yrs old) already have it for almost 3 months, i dont want him to undergo minor operation as much as possible.. How long it takes if i won't allow him to surgical treatment??is it risky if i wont allow it because of his age.. one reason is that she had to be sedated and will be given anesthesia! I dont know how high is the risk, but what I know for sure is that it's risky. Another thing, it's in his eye, of course there will be wound after - how long will that wound be there and treating it without surgery..thank you
