Hi I Have Recently Had My Birth Control Implant Removed

I have recently had my birth control implant removed the same day that my menstrual cycle came on. Two days before then my husband and I had intercourse. My menstrual stopped the day after. I am now on the birth control patch. I have not seen my period for the last five days. Was it just spotting or was it my body realizing that it longer had that kind of birth control anymore. I am not pregnant in any way am I? Please help me answer these questions of mine.
