Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I have sinus tachycardia and have had a heart ablation 11 years ago. I have a family history of high blood pressure, congenital heart disease, high cholesterol. I currently have been experiencing chest pain and pressure. It comes and goes. Most of the time it lasts more than 30 minutes. My ekg came back with results of sinus tachycardia and abnormal left atrial. I had an echo cardiogram a month ago. It came back ok. The pain started not long after the tests. I have been seeing a heart arrhythmia specialist which is the one who did the tests. He has referred me to a general cardiologist. I don't see them until Feb. The pain is getting worse and more. I have shortness of breath, weakness, fatigue. It bothers me at night when I lay on my side. Any ideas on what this could be or what I could do?
