Hi I Have Sore/spots On My Genitals Which Are Red

Hi I have sore/spots on my genitals which are red with yellow dot inside. They are sore as they rub my clothes. My doctor didn't examine me properly or give me tests. I've looked on line and think they look somethink else other than genital herpes. Making me really worried as I haven't had intercourse in 5months. Could it be something else as i only have 6 spots/sores come up in different places
