Hi I Have Started To Get Little Brown Freckle Looking

Hi I have started to get little brown freckle looking marks above my top lip. I've also got loss of volume and the start of lip wrinkles. My mother has a full on wrinkled top lip area. Almost like deep scars are the brown marks the start of deep set wrinkles? She said she started with this but a dermatologist told me the ones had had before were just pigmentation? It's really concerning me! What can I do about them??
