Hi, I have teetered with lupus for many years. never had a flare that required any immunosupppresants.
However, I had a slip/fall on ice around new year 2014. Hit my head so hard that I experienced the "cartoon stars and birds" (I didn't know that stuff was real until then). That immediately sent my raynaud's into hyperdrive. Then, Feb 2014, another head slam. March, this time I fell forward. Hit my chin so hard on the plastic milk crate. may have lost conscience for a moment. April, I landed on left shoulder and hit left side of head on a rock. After the Feb inccodent I broke out in shingles. Retrospectivly I realize that all the ailments that have happened since new years is Lupus flare. The research I have done exclusively through Mayo Clinic points to discoid cutainous lupus eythemotous. OK history done--question...Can lupus cause my body to reject foreign objects and dislodge them and send them out through my skin? Rhonda age 55 caucasion female Thank you for your time
