Hi I haven't been taking metoprolol very long I think like maybe a month or 2 I take 12.5 mg in am and 12.5 at night but I also take lipitor and plavix plavix in morning and liptor at night my ldl is 60 they but me on meds after a heart Cath I am 31 male
