Hi, I Hit My Hand On The Corner Of A

Hi, I hit my hand on the corner of a cabinet last night. Today the knuckle is swollen, bruised and painful. I can move my fingers, so I guess it's not broken. Or maybe I chipped the knuckle. Should I get an x-ray, or just wrap it and ice it myself?
