Hi I hope you can help me with this. I'm 19 and I had a surgical vacuum abortion 2 weeks ago and had the copper coil in. The doctor told me not to have sex from 1 to 2 weeks after and I waited a week. Before I had sex I was bleeding normally with red/dark blood, but now I've had sex I've had light brown blood/discharge and I'm not sure whether this is normal after having sex after this or if it's a sign of infection.
