Hi. I Injured Myself Playing Golf And Met With My

Hi. I injured myself playing golf and met with my physician and he said i pulled the muscles on my rib cage under my right pectoral to my spine. that was almost 3 months ago.. my back pain is now fine, however, it continue to experience pain under my right pectorial.
Is it normal for this to take this long to mend?
