Hi I Just Adopted A 4 Month Old Kitten. She

Hi I just adopted a 4 month old kitten. She had an eye infection and they sent me home with a gel antibiotic to use on her twice a day. I have been doing this since Tuesday and she seems to be worse today I called the place that I rescued her from and they said give it a few more days but I am worried about her. Is there anything else I can do
