Hi, I Just Found Out All Of My Sinuses Are

Hi, I just found out all of my sinuses are completely blocked and I have to have surgery to have them opened because it has caused a huge bump on top of my head as there is no where else for this mucous to go... How safe is this procedure? And, how long did it take for this to build up this badly? And also, my balance if off. Can this be why? Thank you!
