Hi I Just Got A Check Up At A Clinic

Hi I just got a check up at a clinic I've never been to.. I'm 31wks2days pregnant and he seems to be concerned about the babies position already isn't it a little soon? Doesn't my baby still have lots of time to rotate? Also he was pushing and grabbing on my stomach to try and figure out what position my baby was in.. And it actually really hurt. No doctor has ever done this before and my my vagina hurts to wipe, there was a possible spot of blood, my stomach is soar, and I've been peeing so much and I'm wondering if this is okay?
