Hi. I Just Got My Tongue Pierced Yesterday And Now

Hi. I just got my tongue pierced yesterday and now my left tonsil hurts when I swallow which is on the same side my tongue is swollen from the piercing. Sometimes before I got my tongue pierced I would have tonsillitis and was scared if the piercing and tonsillitis would infect it. Other then that my tongue looks fine no infection just swollen but got scared because now my gland feels swollen when I swallow..
