Hi, I Just Had A Growth Removed From My Pinkie

Hi, I just had a growth removed from my pinkie fingertip that was originally thought to be a superficial acral fibromixoma (from pathology report from biopsy), but not after surgical incision is being identified as a cicatricial fibrosis (from new pathology report). Any thoughts as to how I might know what I actually have/had?
