Hi, I Just Had My Right Ear Syringed Due To

Hi, I just had my right ear syringed due to a wax blockage. I was getting a noise in it prior to going, noises such as wind and whistling. The wax was removed, but now I'm still getting the noise, why is that? Could there be water still in there that needs to come out?
