Hi, I Just Picked Up My Prescription At The Pharmacy

Hi, I just picked up my prescription at the pharmacy and when reading the side effects it looks kind of scary. I'm 86 and considered to be in very good health. I have never had any side effects to any drugs I have taken in the past and my Doctor is well aware of my circumstances which are not bad. Seven years ago I had open heart surgery for an aortic valve and within the same year I had 45 radiation treatments for prostate cancer. All is well and I feel great. I am over weight but that's basically all. Evidently my Doctor feels comfortable with me taking this drug or he wouldn't have prescribed it but I have taken so few drugs in the past I'm a little gun shy. lol
