Hi, I Just Pierced My Ears About Two Weeks Ago

Hi, I just pierced my ears about two weeks ago by myself with the ear ring its self. At first, both ears were swollen, but no pus. I went to the doctors to get them checked out. She put me on an anti-biotic and told me I'd be fine. then, a few days ago, I started to gauge my ears. I am currently at a size 12, and the other night, while I was cleaning my ears ( I take out my gauges to make sure I can see the hole), I saw some weird "mucus" in the hole. When I squeezed them, suspecting it to be pus. A creamy white pus came out. I'm terrified of infection, I just need some advice.
