Hi I Just Walked Home 1 Km In -10 Weather

Hi I just walked home 1 km in -10 weather with a coat and pants on. Got home and legs were a little red with light cold exposure, but a few minutes later noticed the top of my foot was itching and swelling in a certain spot. Put some warm water on it and has seemed to mild down. Just very curious what it could be from. Thanks
