Hi I Just Was Informed That I Have A Retinal

Hi I just was informed that I have a retinal hemorrhaging, right now they can't see how I came about.
I did have a bad case of sinus infection could that have caused it, and they say it will take 3 months to heal if I don't require surgery, does that mean I can not fly to Europe in 2 weeks?
Please let me know if this is so
