Hi, I Know This Is Kind Of Late But It

Hi, I know this is kind of late but it happened about a year ago. I fell down a flight of stairs by hitting my shin on each and every one of those edges on the stairs. I bruised it really badly and it was swollen for 2 weeks. Now that its almost been a year since that happened, I tend to still have this pain in my left shin when there's pressure on it. I'm quite concerned and wondering if something happened on the inside of my leg(shin area) and I don't know about it. Could it be internally bruised? Some type of clotting?
