Hi, I Live In Louisiana Where The Mosquitoes Are Pretty

Hi, I live in Louisiana where the mosquitoes are pretty bad down here. I was cheering at a game last night and was bit by something which I figured was a mosquito. This bite was different from the ones I usually have. It's just really hard this time and it's still pretty big on my arm. My usual mosquito bites usually go away in less than a day and are soft to the touch. Please help, I don't know what's wrong. Thanks
