Hi I M 38 Weeks Pregnant As Per My Lmp

Hi I m 38 weeks pregnant as per my lmp however the ultrasound report indicates the fetus age of 35 weeks n 6 days..n AFI is Is 6-7 a bit low and doctor has advised me to go for induced labour..however the head of the baby is still not engaged and I m worried if at this stage I go for induced pain it will lead to c section and I want to opt for normal delivery..so please suggest wat shud I do in this case shud I wait or go for induction..moreover on coloured doppler test shows the umbilical artery shows good diastolic flow..so please suggest wat shud I do to expect msx chances of normal delivery
