Hi, I Noticed A Large Lump With What Seemed To

Hi, I noticed a large lump with what seemed to be a 'root' about a week ago. It is on the left side between the vaginally and the and in a bony area. The lump went down at the weekend but tonight it actually feels hard and pushing out like a stick.
I am 52, good health except for right side teyraplegic.
