Hi, I Put Veet On My Upper Lip And When

Hi, I put veet on my upper lip and when I put on there was a little tingle but I thought it because it's removing the hair I took off fine and then 5 mins after its gone red and like dots in my skin? What shall I do its before Christmas and I don't want to look stupid ?
