Hi. I Reading About Lyrica Being A Low Level Narcotic

Hi. I reading about Lyrica being a low level narcotic and a controll d substance. I am a recovering addict and type 1 diabetic fir 45 years. A neurologist prescribed Lyrica for the nerve pain in my leg, but I still feel pain. She incr asked the dose to no avail. Is this addictive? I want to stop cold turkey. I don't even like taking aspirin. What's your opinion?
