Hi I Recently Experienced What I Thought Was Triple Vision.

Hi I recently experienced what I thought was triple vision. I was sitting in a chair watching tv when all of a sudden a odd sensation came over my forehead. The the screen of the tv suddenly showed 3 images of the same thing one on top of the other. It lasted maybe 20-30 seconds. I went to see a neurologist this week for other symtoms thinking I made of had stroke a few months back. A mild one I thought. During this consultation I told my neurogolist of the multi vision experience and he said triple vision was highly unlikely as I only have 2 eyes. However I know what I experienced. Is it possible this was triple vision? Can a person experience triple vision?
