Hi I Recently Found Out My Husband Did A Herpes

Hi I recently found out my husband did a herpes blood test and is on the antiviral medication Acyclovir 800mg. He has also been referred to see an Urologist, he still has not mentioned anything to me. For the past years I always have him used a condom during sex. On my next doctors visit should I still have the blood test done. I don't have any symptoms. Does this proves he has herpes?
