Hi I Recently Hurt My Right Hand By Lifting A

Hi I recently hurt my right hand by lifting a long heavy object with right hand to left hand and felt a terrible twinge or tear in my right hand. It has progressively gotten worse over the last week with weakness and burning sensations in my hand and fingers. Keeps me awake at night with pain. What do you think it is and how should I dr with it?
